The AFI Catalogue of Feature Films, 1921-1930 says in the synopsis of "The Primitive Lover" (1922):
"Frantic with hunger, Phyllis visits Hector´s cabin, insults him, and
is promptly spanked...."
This scene appearantly later was some time later cut from the movie and all known versions no longer contain it.
