It's nt a movie based on a play by Robert Phillips, it's a television play by him. The transcript can be read at The Spank Statement (the link is not working). I took it from the script that was used when filming the scene 50+ years ago, so it is precise about how the scene was put together by shots. I don't know how you can judge intensity when the actual scene isn't available to view.
