Movie Spankings

Another one of those long-running Western TV series! It ran (on TV) from 1952 to 1970.
Just in the very last season, however, the episode The Taming of Trudy Bell featured the series´one and only spanking scene!
But then, it´s a pretty good one.

Here is a request from a reader.

Los Pistolocos is a Mexican Western from 1960.

SFR describes the spanking scene like this:
A helpful gentleman who finds a young lady`s misplaced purse is unhappy about her ungrateful reaction when he returns it, and takes her across his knee and administers a sound hand spanking to her bottom.

And this is a rather well-known clip. Harry Enfield spanks Ulrika Jonsson on the charity fundraising event Comic Relief in 2003. Credits to Luther for finding a clip for it in good quality!

This publicity picture does look very promising.

However, the scene in the movie falls a little short. She promises to be good just at the last second. He should have made sure of it, of course.

And this is from the Italian show Domani Smetto. Which I believe means "Tomorrow I will stop". All credits go to ataru for finding it.

This episode seems to be about quitting smoking. The girl apparently has been set a (low) limit of cigarettes a day.
But they give her a chance to earn more - for each 5 smacks she gets from people passing by she gets one additional cigarette.
A prominent sign tells the people that she wants to be spanked so she can smoke. At least that´s how I understand it.
Not quite sure what the girl´s lesson to be learned from this is supposed to be. Maybe to show her how far she´d go for her addiction.
Anyway, one thing is sure: If I had been on this bridge on that day, she would have had an additional pack of cigarettes in no time at all.
And maybe actually learned a lesson, too.

"65" told me to check out the beginning of 2nd episode of Anne Heche's new show Save Me.
I did and was quite pleased with what I found.

Save me is about "a woman who, after nearly choking to death on a sandwich, becomes a direct pipeline to God" (Wikipedia).
In this scene Miss Heche questions if she is a very good choice for that task.
